Document translation for UK visas
UKVI (UK Visas and Immigration) requires that all documents not in English are accompanied by a full certified translation. The translator must confirm the accuracy of the translation, state their qualifications, and provide their contact details. We provide translations that comply with the gov.uk requirements for all major visa categories.

General UKVI translation requirements
UKVI does not accept machine translations (Google Translate and equivalents) and does not accept translations prepared by the applicant themselves. Under the official gov.uk guidance, a translation must be certified: the translator signs the document, confirming the accuracy of the translation, and states the date, their name, and their contact details.
UKVI rules do not require membership of a specific association such as ITI or CIOL — it is sufficient that the translator is competent and has confirmed their qualifications. In practice, however, Home Office caseworkers are more comfortable accepting translations from members of professional associations. We are members of the ITI (Institute of Translation and Interpreting), membership number #00030489.
The translation must be complete: the entire text of the document is translated, including stamps, seals, marginal notes, and signatures. Partial translations are not accepted. If a document is bilingual (for example, Kazakh–Russian), the section containing the principal information is translated, or both sections are translated with a note identifying the languages.
Notarisation is not required for most UKVI visa applications — a certified translation is sufficient. The difference between a certified, notarised, and sworn translation is explained in detail in our guide.
