Asia-Plus: В Пенджикенте военкомат пришли в учебное заведение

The article reports that military commissariat staff in Panjakent (Пенджикент), Sughd region, detained dozens of students during raids at the city’s pedagogical institute. According to the article, a Facebook post in the group “I Panjakent! Панҷакентро медорам! Я Пенджикент!” reported that on the morning of 26 November — and, previously, on 18 November — a group of agency officers in civilian clothing entered classrooms at the pedagogical university and forcibly took all male students to the military commissariat. The article reports that, according to eyewitnesses, the male students were put in cars and driven away, and that parents of some of the detained students complained of lawlessness, saying that detention of students during classes did not conform to any rules. The article cites Muazzamkhon Ansori (Муаззамхон Ансори), rector of the Panjakent pedagogical institute, who confirmed the fact of the detention to Asia-Plus but said the students had already been released. The article quotes Ansori: “At the time of the detention, the students did not have their student IDs with them.
